I just ordered mine and it is delivering today. Looking forward to using it. I am very particular about my car and will be using it first to detail my engine bay. I also wanted it so I can clean my e-mountain bike which I will never use traditional water wash on - too risky!

Power washer? Garden hose? Never. I'm looking for something safe and effective. I don't care about the time it takes to do the work. Plastics melt with heat. I'm guessing, although I don't know, that normal engine bay temperatures routinely go above 212'F/100'C, & thus steam cleaning would be relatively safe. Target vehicle is a Corvette, & they've got plastic everywhere. Not just trim and engine covers, but body panels & more.

Can I use degreaser in the Chemical side?

thank you for uploading. I absolutely love my chief steamer 75. I use it roughly every other day 2.5 hours avg. As a competitive distance runner, I had to quit using chemicals on the interior for the sake of my health and my customer's health. Steamers are the way to go all around.

What do you recommend if you have a well with very hard water requiring a water softener. Should you use water from the water softener or water that passes through a reverse osmosis filter? Thanks
